    Vibration when accelerating uphill

There is a strong vibration when accelerating uphill, it feels like something slipping and power coming in binary mode (101010101 etc, sorry working in IT). Only happening going up.
What could this be? Driveshaft joints? Differential?

    Thanks!

I'm reading you earlier posts about it and sounds like the issue https://www.bimmerforums.com/forum/s...lution-for-you

What happened since you used the "Dr. Tranny's Instant Shudder Fixx" in 2011? Oh man, if i could fix this for like $7 that would be a miracle

Thanks for pointing me to the right direction!

Well my TC was shuddering for probably close to 100k miles, so I feel lucky that the stuff worked for about 7k miles. The internal friction material is probably long gone on mine. If that is your problem and it just recently started, it is definitely worth a shot. I'd put 2 tubes in.

Do not rule out worn engine and transmission mounts.

What have you done after the 7K? Replaced torque converter?
I'm almost sure this is the issue (low rpm, going slightly uphill, many people reporting exact same symptoms). It actually got worse since changing oil in transmission recently.
Will be changing transmission mounts at the same time, engine mounts were just replaced.

I'm still driving with it that way. 219k miles.

Depending upon what fluid you used, it may have a lower friction level to it and made it worse. I imagine the Dr. Tranny is a friction modifier.

Yeah I put that in the second time with 1 or 2 tubes of the other stuff (can't remember how many). No difference.

Mister tranny shutter fix find it at any auto parts store and have your fluid changed buy two of the mister tranny before waisting any money on repair 80k on my old tranny after having the same problem, I also change tranny fluid every 3 oil changes and add more mister tranny. Just the fluid in pan about 5-6 quarts of amsoil is what I use
