    Locating both 12v constant, 12v

I'm in the process of throwing a radio in the glove box(keeping the 16:9) threw as well an aftermarket amp (DSP died ) but I'm having a hard time finding the best place to steal 12v and 12 constant, I tapped into one of the red and yellow lined wires on the AC control which apears to be 12v but I need to find "that wire" to be able to turn the radio off when I exit the car.

Under the right front floor carpet is a connector bank. Simply with a test light, verify power to a connector that lights up the test light with the key off. That's the one for constant battery source to set station memory. Then probe for another that only lights up with the key on, That's the one that will shut the radio off with the key off.

Getting under the carpet is easier said than done. Having a multi meter is essential with these cars, so just text the fuses in the glove box. Select one to suit your need and use a piggyback fuse holder like this:

Purple wires are constant, the flashlight in the glove box has it, they are everywhere. Red switched, purple constant and lavender is headlight switched

I am using switched power from phone cradle. Only switched power that I was able to find effortlesly. Another plus is that it has separate fuse so if your auxiliary equipment fails you are not loosing anything but the phone
