    New problem? O2 sensor

With Ross’s help I got my 93 525i purring like a kitten. But, now, within 60 seconds of driving after clearing the cel light codes, the cel comes on complaining about the O2 sensor. I tried clearing the code and then driving it for awhile but it still happens. Start the car with no cel light then within 60 seconds the light comes on and it’s the O2 sensor again. Any ideas guys?

No, I have not. I think I will look into testing it before I replace it. But yea, I guess it kind of has to be the O2 sensor if the light is coming on that fast.

Bosch 15718 4-wire mustang sensor is $22.19 right now at Amazon. Do you have two of them?

It's not plug and play. You will need to cut and splice it into the existing harness or you can get a ford 02 sensor connector for about $9. That makes it plug and play.

Thank you again. I haven't been under the vehicle yet to see what it's going to take to get it out of there. I'll figure out the 4 wires remove the old one and splice in the new one. So that Ford part number has an internal heater and puts out the required 0 to 1 volt?

Yes it's the same Bosch sensor that we use but with the Ford connector.
