Good Afternoon. Auto 750 E38 1995. Burned the second unit ECU DME have a few questions, 1. EWS2 is synchronized with the first control unit DME device ? 2. If I put the second control unit DME from another car, but with a different firmware, everything will be fine? thank you.

The DME Control Module is not ordered VIN specific and must be programmed during replacement. The ISN from the new DME must be transferred to the EWS II module using the DISplus or MoDic.
