    Vroom vroom

Hey all, looking for feedback from anyone who has installed an Ansa Sport muffler on an otherwise stock exhaust system.

I've had full Ansa systems on some English cars and they sounded great and I like the look of the twin pipes but will this muffler by itself sound any throatier than the stock unit? Not looking for or expecting loud but a deeper voice with a touch more volume would be welcome.

I had an Ansa Sport on my ‘74 tii, and it sounded amazing! Not overly loud, but definitely added a bit of throat to it across the Power band.

I had it on both a 79 and an 82, it sounded very good, on the 79 a bit louder because it had no catalytic converter. Sounded like 80s rally cars.

Thanks. From both of your responses I think the Ansa Sport would meet my expectations.

For payment, we both require videos as soon as exhaust is on!

Ha! Well it's like this, 29 degrees and snowing. Just getting over bronchitis. So the car improvement opportunities slow down between now and March. Will probably order the Ansa Sport muffler but have a few parts waiting for replacement already.

As I feel better and get the above average sunny day I'll chip away at the things-to-do.
    Thanks guys!

Any interest in buying a used Ansa sport? I have one with low miles in great shape that I have been thinking of selling - have the mid-pipe from the converter back too. My 2.0 build required a custom exhaust so no need for this on my car. PM me if interested.

I just change mine to it. It sounds great and the dual exhaust looks way more aggressive in my opinion.
However, it was a PITA to remove the 3 bolts from the center pipe. I actually had to torque them to the point the head broke off.
I might be able to upload a video of the sound.
    pic below.

Are the tips black now or is that a protective coating?
