Thinking of parking a X1 x35i next to the Z3

Time to get out of my 2010 X3 and get something a hair smaller, so I'm thinking of picking up a 2015 X1 x35i to park next to the Z3.

I'm looking at cars in the 20K mile range coming off lease and are CPO from BMW giving me 2 years on the warranty.

Do we have any X1 owners here?

    Opinions?

Be ready to duck your head getting in and out. They are noticeably smaller. I just recently found a 2010 x3 with 34k miles. Love it

I didn't buy one because the seats are also noticeably smaller - and I'm not. Ultimately replaced my '09 X3 with a '17 Subaru Forester XT Touring and love it. Half the price!

I had a X1 loaner while my X5 was in the shop. It was more nimble than the X5, that is the only good thing I can say about it. Overall I didn't like it and wouldn't pay money for it. BUT, this is YOUR car, YOU need to drive it and see what YOU like and don't like about it.

I don't blame you for wanting something with the utility parts of the X3, but in a smaller package. It's much easier to deal with something that size than with a "normal" sized SUV. My last vehicle was an '06 Pontiac Vibe, which is a little smaller than an X1, and you could fit a lot of stupid stuff in the Vibe. I don't know too much about the X1, but I would probably choose that over the X3.
