In your first post you talk about overfilling an S54 with oil, something you should never do. S54's if anything should be a hair BELOW the max marking on dipstick. S52's can be overfilled all day, it's recommended in fact, but on S54's its a BIG no-no!

I’ve read 5.5 liters and 5.8 quarts. I guess I shouldn’t recommend 6 quarts. I’ll edit it.
