I got all the parts in and tightened down the 8mm bolts that go through the base of the window connecting it to the pulley system but it rolls down fine but when I try to roll it up it only goes halfway before it sticks, the window does not seem to be rolling up evenly either. The taller side of the window does not follow along the trim so the window is in crooked, I don't know how that can be since the two fastening points at window base are fixed in place. Any tips or tricks on this much appreciated. thank you.
On this site there are posts that describe how to adjust the window so that it is evenly raised.
likely your regulator is out of adjustment and causing the window to bind. When the window motor senses any significant resistance it stops. This is to prevent damage if you hold the button when the window is already closed, it is also a safety feature to prevent serious injury if you get a body part stuck in a closing window.

You are right, it is binding and then stops, I have not forced it so hopefully I have not ruined anything, how do I fix this problem? Please help. thank you.
Search this site. There is information here on how to do it. If you can't find it try e46Fanatics. Just Google it.
