ISTA-D issue

My plan is to retrofit an old trailer coupling to my 2013MY F11, but the problem is that I can't access the "vehicle modification" button under "vehicle management" in ISTA-D. Anyone familiar with this and how to solve it? It would also be much appreciated if someone could guide me through the programming. Is there anything special to consider when using old/used ecus from other cars?
Attached picture is for illustration only, the "vehicle modification" button is faded in my software hence not possible to click for some odd reason. Thanks-Stian

ISTA/D is only for diagnostics, you need ISTA/P for programming and coding.
