Looks awesome! Way better than my own AliExpress faux-leather rewrap:

And regarding the up/downshift Steptronic debate: Every race car with a sequential transmission is pull back to upshift, push forward to downshift, aligning with the g-forces. Mazdas and BMWs do it that way.

I forgot to ask. What paint did you use to refinish the plastic?
Btw, Nate, I think yours looks pretty decent too.

I used Rustoleum Painters Touch 2X Matte Black. I bought it at Home Depot. I read about a few other ones (including SEM Trim Coat), but in the end, a thread (http://www.m5board.com/vbulletin/e60...heir-self.html) about a guy who sprayed his interior trim of his f10 5 series swayed me.
It matches well.
Sorry for the late reply - I've been flying around, and trying to find that thread mentioned above.

You can choose leather, perforated leather, suede, or any combination. Leather is very quality too. Also choose whatever color thread you want. They also include very thin two sided tape to hold it in place while you stitch it. I did all leather with m stitching on my 530i and perforated leather on the sides with reg leather top and bottom and red stitching on my 740i. 7B3E6395-1575-4DE1-8299-82A887FA4DD1.jpg I think it was about $30.00 per kit.

I've used those cheap kits from mewart lol. Good if you want to unload the car quick, bad if you want to actually put miles on it. The leather looks ok at first but does not hold up over time. I used those for about 4 years then just spent the $400 on a nice professionally upholstered wheel and I should have just done that in the first place.
