Hey guys! I've been on the forums for long now and active on the E39 group. I've owned multiple 530's. Mainly because my first car was a BMW E39 530iA and so far I've owned 4 530is since 2016. The story that leads me to my current daily (95 dakar yellow 5spd) is
4 years ago, when my family moved from Bangladesh to Perrysburg (suburb in Toledo, Ohio for my education. I was in junior high 7th grade when we moved here. So, I started to go to school in 7th grade. Now, every friday's all my friends and I used to walk to the best ice cream parlor in town, "Mr Freeze." While walking down there I first saw the yellow E36 M3. At that point I knew what it was because when I was 7 years old I remember my dad driving a CPO E36 m3 in estoril blue vert in Bangladesh. But for some reason he didn't buy it. Since, then I was introduced to the E36 chassis. And now when I saw my car I was just amazed. Little, did I know that car would be mine 4 years later?
So roughly 3 weeks ago from November 6th, 2017 my best friend Graham called me and said, "The E36 M3 dakar yellow is for sale!" after finishing school I rushed to look at the car. And she was rough. I immediately passed on it. Then I went there again a week later with two more friends of mine and they talked me into it. And I offered the guy to trade my 99k mile E39 530iA sport, cali car that I'd value to sell for $4500 ( I ended up selling that car for $5000 this week) since the E36 M3 was listed for $3,500 OBO. But the guy said he was interested in cash since he had a baby coming.
So, I immediately start listing my beloved 530i. This 530i was the best 530i I had owned. It was a sport package with the very sought after style 42s, entire new front suspension, cooling system and a lot more things. This car was mechanically solid and not to mention it had 0 rust. As soon after I sold the 530i I had the M3 go for a PPI. She passed but needed some work and I will be remeding it.
Fun fact:
The car sat for a year and half but it was started once a week. The car sat because the owned got clocked going 140MPH and not to mention he had some illegal substances in the car. The guy lost his license.

Currently the car clunks while going over a bump I'm thinking it is a shock since it has no subframe crack. Not RTABS since it's clunks even when I push the trunk.

5. Ebay clear corner
6. A simple gloss over the paint with a claybar
I have just recieved my valve cover gasket, heatercore and O rings.

Let me know how you like her. Yellow is my fav color which is why I also own a Dakar E36 M3.

I've replaced the heatercore on 12/16/17. Also replaced the VCG with spark plugs on 12/18/17. But as a suprise my passenger window wouldn't go up. And I needed a new motor. Found one used regulator and motor from bimmermerchant from a vert. That should be going in.
