    Why drop the motor? You don’t need to for rod bearings or supercharger install but I suspect the headers would be a real pain. Maybe the combination of having to do all 3 makes dropping the motor worthwhile. Anyway, looks like a great project. Dyno it on a dynojet in SAE and report the results.

    The original motor was shot and needed to be replaced. During the swap was when we decided to refresh everything. That definitely made things much easier.

    Were the bearings fried on the original motor?

    Just wondering how you chose Calico instead of BE bearings?

    They were done, and were what caused the original motor to be replaced.

    We went with Calico, they are easier for us to get a hold of .
