    Mirrors, Auto Tint, Adjustable

    Hi all,

My E93 has darker window tint.

That combined with the mirrors auto-tinting, it's hard to see cars (with their lights on) at night.

Can I change the mirror tint intensity? Perhaps change the voltage?

Other ideas besides removing all the window tinting?

Hello - take a look at the link below to an earlier thread where this is discussed. It looks like the 5 series came with an on/off button, but not the 3 series. The tape idea mentioned may be the only solution unfortunately. Hope this helps and best of luck!

I experienced a similar problem with both my e90 and my e92, as both had tint when I bought them. I felt like I was piloting a submarine at night. I ended up stripping the tint off both of them. It only took an hour for each.

    I may end up there.

The tint looks sweet, but quick concise visibility has always been a must for me.
