Lol! At least you dont have to deal with leaks and wind noise We need the VIN numbers to decide if anybody has another one from July!

I've had an E65 from 2001/10, they were definitely switching over sometimes in August-September.

I had - and recently sold - a blue iL which was 7/01 also. Steel sunroof and no IR windshield. It was for sale here for a while. 122kmi when I sold it late last year.

Btw: I'm DP18904, so they built 14,611 in approx 16 months (2000/3 - 2001/7). Not a lot.

I wonder if they cut production at DP34000 to make it a round number.

Just checking the last 5 (DP34404-408)...I would like to see the 2nd from last (DP34407). Four of the last 5 were Titan/Silver...but the 2nd from last was Steel Blue (stahlblau). That is one of the rarest e38 exterior colors.

What's the last 5 digits of your VIN...it may not be the first e38 (since there's multiple models and wheelbases...ie I6/V8/V12 & SWB/LWB)...but it could be near the beginning of whichever model it is.
