Need a beefier tranny mount

The 265/6 transmission uses only one rubber mount, however id like to add one more to the driver side for additional support. Anyone know which rubber mount i can use to fill the larger gap between the mount and the transmission tabs?

BMW makes a double mount cross member for that transmission.

I need the rubber mount not the cross member, I have the correct cross member, but thanks.

If you want dual mounts you need to use the dual mount cross member. If you want single mount keep what you have.

My mechanic installed one already however he didn’t like having 3-4 washers in place. So he recommended finding one larger. Here is a photo

The steel mount is the single and the aluminium is the dual. Here is the dual mounts on a cable driven 265.

I have a dual transmission mount from my E24 w/265. This is the proper BMW dual-mount aluminum piece (part #2371175731) mentioned above, with 2 mounts. Used less than a month, in "as-new" condition. Swapped in an M60/6-speed combo. Would sell and ship to SoCal for $40.
