As stated above, I'm getting a bad vibration at 25 MPH when accelerating, but only if pushing it. If I accelerate slowly, no vibration at all. Once I'm past 30 MPH, no vibration. I searched the forums but didn't find anything that sounded like my issue (drive shaft, etc.).
Where should I start looking?

My first thought was a drive shaft out of balance.

I am having the same issue with my 325 e46 automatic. Just to give you some info on what I have already done. I replaced carrier bearing And Guibo bushing. And front control arm bushing and new rotors and pads. Still trying to fix please let me know if you figure it out.

On BMW's if the CSB goes out, then typically the driveshaft is done as well.

Recent had the same, not even accelleration there was a knocking noise right at 25 mph, it didn't seem to make noise at other speeds. Turns out it was the U-joint in the drive shaft, only after I got it fixed (expensive) did I notice the car was performing much better and seemed to be quieter at higher speeds as well.
