What car thread: cool but obscure

EDIT: I need to wait for coffee to kick in before posting. I was sure I was in OT. Mods, please tow. Although I guess this is technically FI

What car do you fancy that may or may not be expensive but you really want that few other people know about and/or appreciate?

Came across my unicorn for sale: Bentley Continental T (really must be blue but I'd settle for black). Been in love with this car since I first saw an article on it in the 90s in R&T or C&D, I bet I still have the issue in my parent's house basement somewhere.

Damn, Perry, well done. Especially on the Aston and the ZiL. I always had a soft spot for the GAZ 66. A neighbor in Russia at the cottage had one. After a big rain storm where the fields around turned into swamps, he took us kids for rides. I encountered the ceiling more than once. I've dreamt about finding a way to get one here and swap in some monstrous motor into it while keeping it stock looking

That would be my dream car!

Had a 87 TSi back in the day, and always wanted to swap in an LS. Plus Turbos make everything better.

That early toronado is surprisingly kickass looking. The Ferrari 400 has aged really well too, but I just don't know about dealing with old ferrari issues, even if it was going to get swapped...

If I could afford one I would get it and put a small block chevy in it with a 6 speed. It would be worth it just to see the Ferrari people loose there minds. I saw a really nice Dino sell on ebay with no engine or trans about 5 years ago for 10 grand. If I wasn't married I would own it.

I understand ALL of that post! Lol

I kind of think I might prefer stuffing a straight/slant 6 into the Ferrari 400 with a TH400 behind it. BMW or 2JZ, either way would be super funny.

I think a 427 LS motor with a really mild cam and LS7 heads. About 600 hp NA and a big nitrous kit. And a ford 9 inch.
