    Not funny !!!!

Well okay laugh if you will....I'm an idiot !!! I bought a car that has no spare tire, and no tire tools (car lift/jack, lug wrench) it had the emergency trunk tools on the trunk lid but not a complete set...anyway, The previous owner had just installed new tires and had a list of other stuff done before car was traded-in. I got this from a whole sale dealer, "their not responsible for what car is missing" he says "bought as is"...okay not a problem until I get a flat. No problem I say I'll take it to discount to repair/replace the tire right. Discount looks at the car, wheel tread wear etc on all the tires, then he says that there a are wheel locks and do I have the key. Key I say, what key. Turns out this car has wheel locks, not just any wheel locks but very distinct/different locks and not just one per wheel....the locks are on all twenty lugs ... I'm just Skr#*ed all around, hugh..... Okay the attached pic is of a lug and key that look similar to what I have...difference is that the lug inner part is five side not a star image. AAAAGGGGHHHHH....Can anybody help???

Humm I have used a stripped lug bolt remover to get these off in the past. Basically, it just hammers on with a reverse thread, and when you go to remove it, it grips onto the bolt. Here is a set from amazon: https://www.amazon.com/Sunex-2840-Pi...t+removal+tool

I am surprised that the tire shop doesn't have one, for they should be able to deal with those locks.

If it's a 5-sided hole, won't a large allen wrench or Torx bit work?

usually tire shops have a universal master lock set to get these off. Its very odd that they are on all the lugs though.

Decent wheel shop will remove any wheel locks with a 12 point or spot welding nut onto your existing setup
Buy my native installed ISIS ISTA-D/ISTA-P bmw diagnostic laptop. More Info Here!

OP, call your local tire repair shops, one of them should have the key.

Not odd for the city, just a little more paranoid than most city-dwellers.
