    Aftermarket wheels, inside tire wear

Hi all... I have a 2013 640 convertible and put on aftermarket wheels and tires. The rear wheels have a slightly visible camber, sort of like this / \ ... I didn't bother looking into additional hardware because I wanted to see if tire wear was bad, or at least what level of inequal wear would show. Well- after a few months, it is wearing pretty bad (shocking I know)... the inside of the rear wheels are wearing MUCH faster than anything else, about as I expected but hoped against.

My question for those of you more car savvy than I am is: do I simply need to buy a rear camber kit and have it installed? Or something else? Also, if you're aware of anything specifically (brand etc) please let me know. I'd like to get it done right, throw new tires on it and not have to worry about it again.

    Thanks in advance!

Without knowing what's wrong with your aftermarket wheels, or what they are even made of, I suggest buying wheels which are not bent, or fix the hardware that is.

Wheels aren't bent, and I'm fairly sure nothing else is, but I'm going to take it to the shop to get a 4 wheel alignment to see if that fixes the toe issue, and will have them check everything else.

The wheels are not going to cause un even wear. That is an alignment issue. If the car has not been lowered you will not need an alignment kit. You just need to have the car aligned and tell them less negative camber.
If I can help eith new tires let me know.

Get an alignment. You almost certainly have too much negative camber and/or toe in the rear. If you're at or near stock ride height your rear camber should be able to be set to an appropriate value without buying any aftermarket parts.

You can set camber to be tire friendly, but keep in mind,
What you gain in tire wear=loss in high performance characteristics.
If this is for daily use, and no track or HPD driving style,
You should be fine adjusting wheels to the minimum allowable camber.

Any alignment shop will set the camber/toe to the factory recommended settings (which are for the street), unless you tell them otherwise. Do this.
