Ditched my Magnaflow and got my Supersprint system on yesterday. A bit of tweaking to do still...I realized my rear-most rubber hangers were a bit shot, but can probably dial it in perfect in another hour or so. I missed the boat on the 50% off sale (sounds like I got my system before a lot of the diligent members here even), but found a brand new sealed system local to me for a deal I couldn't pass up. The scenery at the seller's shop made it a heck of a fun job. He even let me use his lift and one of his mechanics at no charge. If you're reading this, thanks again Alex!
I guess I can offer pointers when the rest of you go to put your systems on. Truly bolt-on, but picked up a couple tricks. My head worked great to hold the mufflers in place while I did up some bolts. To my knowledge the kit does NOT come with bolts to attach the muffler hangers to your rubber hangers, so you'll need to come up with something there. However, I don't know exactly when my system was purchased, so SS may have rectified this.

I was told the exhaust will get a bit louder after about 500 miles (seller has same system on his Coupe), but I was very happy with the initial sound. At WOT, it's glorious...a nice deep refined note. My only problem is now I have 6 mufflers hanging in my garage! Original OEM, the Magnaflows I removed and a set off my work buddy's Z4M. One of them will make it onto the Coupe someday, and we'll probably toss another on a Lemons car or two.

Anyone have any experience with the aftermarket rubber hangers? I can't imagine spending over $100 for 4 OEM hangers. I actually don't recall seeing metal sleeves in mine; could BMW have updated these at some point?

Good to know. I'll grab OEM and worry about them again in another 18 years. I still think I made out alright on the deal.
The only annoying thing about the system is the slip connection on the passenger side. It's nice because you can adjust the length (DS is fixed length), but since the top left bolt on PS is fairly unreachable with DS in place, you can only guess on the overall length before you bolt it up. Now I've realized my PS sticks out about 1/2" further than DS (was really hard to notice until it was all bolted up and back on the ground). I think I can just loosen the connection on the clamp and try and move the entire PS forward, but not looking forward to it. Of course, instructions would have helped. All that was in the box was a diagram showing a flange bolting to a car. 100% generic.

My car uses molded rubber hangers with cloth reinforcement inside: PN 18211247422 for $25 each.
I measured the distance between holes and also bought some generic hangers from Kartboy.com for $8 each. They were blocky and square in profile rather than rounded, looked crude and strong. But I didn't use them.

Entirely different hanger on the M. M has two studs on the car side that you bolt the hanger to; then you bolt the Supersprint bracket to the hole in the rubber hanger. I don't love the setup, as the Superprint hanger has a very long slotted vertical hole and relies on friction to keep the muffler height held; however the bracket only attaches to one side of the rubber hanger. You basically squish the bracket into the hanger with a nut and bolt, probably prematurely wearing the rubber some. The OEM mufflers have welded round bar that fits in the rubber hanger hole (can't slide vertically). The Supersprint system does allow you tuck the tips up quite high; I can barely get a finger between the top of the tips and bottom of bumper and have a few mm clearance on both sides between tips and bumper cutouts.

Yes, the supersprints can eat the rubber hangers. One of mine is torn after a couple of years, probably because it had to be contorted in order to get the muffler to sit where I wanted it to. I might take the car to an exhaust shop and get it professionally installed with custom brackets so the hangers can work properly.
Yeah I'm working up a bracket to get steel on both sides of the hanger; it would be better if the hanging load was supported in double shear vs. wanting to twist the OEM rubber. This would also keep the mufflers from wanting to sag if the bolt got a little loose somehow.

Gap between sides is only a few mm (80mm tips don't leave a lot of space). I'll post some photos of where mine's at. To me, they look right. We had them lower but it looked like they were sagging a bit. My 4th photo up above is where I stopped. I could have gone higher.
And my fingers are a bit meaty after years of non-glove wrenching.
Here's Turner's installed pic vs. mine:

Hmm, looks like my PS side isn't off as much as theirs...guess it's easier to screw up that slip connection than I thought. Their PS muffler is also sitting way higher than the DS.

I went over budget on my recent MTB purchase and cancelled my Supersprint order before it ever arrived Happy wife, happy life...

Cyber Monday sale, yes - thought about selling after it arrived. Once suspension is fully renovated then maybe I can play with fancy mufflers, but alas - I spend more time with the pedal bikes now.

I'm still waiting for mine to arrive. Shipping notice said Dec 22nd, and I got an email from ECS today saying it's pushed back until January 19th. So this actually works out--I haven't paid for it yet, but it's OK because I can't drive it for another couple months anyway.
Yup. I received the same email. Mine were to ship today
She told me as long as I pay my portion of the bills on time, we're good. I think she chooses not to want to know the details of every transaction. Luckily I flip (nearly) as many as I buy. My latest problem is buying pieces that I really like personally, which makes it harder to let go. So far I've been running at about 15x my online savings account return, so...I'll never stop.

Don't feel too bad if you missed out on the deal.
They had a big sale on stuff they DIDN'T HAVE, and it's beginning to look like they never will.
Just got ANOTHER set-back notice, right after I got parts in the mail that are in no way correct, in spite of web site showing them to be specific to my car.
And I'm SICK of all the stinking emails.
ETA: found the site AFTER I'd placed an order for the exhaust.
Oh yeah, Hello!

Did you really expect them to have all that over head? These exhausts are made in Italy and they don't control how quick their shipments go through customs.

Yeah-if you’re going to have a big a** sale, you ought to be geared up and ready to deliver in a reasonable time frame.
Customs likely has little to do with it.
Just extra pissed because I got the latest delay email right after finding parts with the correct part # in no way fit.
And hello anyway!
ETA:
First got a notice “Awaiting arrival “
Then got a notice “Warehouse transfer”
Today’s notice (pushing it out to January) states “Awaiting delivery from local supplier”
And that’s after I got an email (among the many) last night asking me to submit a review.
A review for something I’ve never seen.
This was an impulse purchase ( like I’m sure many were).
Not a custom-order we don’t know when, if ever,it will get here.
Gonna hang in there, for a while at least.
But my frustration is not without cause.

NMBuffalo Super Sprint has never failed to deliver exhaust to us, many of the systems are built to order and long lead due to this, I'm very sorry about the delays. As for ramping up for a big sale, we did and they did, everyone just was way way more excited for the deal than anyone anticipated.
