    Blower not blowing

The blower in my 740i stopped working awhile ago. It's getting cold so I wanna fix it. Funnily though, sometimes when you slam the front passenger door hard enough it would turn on. I can hear all the doors opening in the dash, and I've looked at the sword and it looks fine. Any wiring or fuses I should check before I buy a new one?

I think Shogun's site has a way to jump the pins on the sword to activate the blower motor. At least you'd know if it's the motor or not without opening up the fan compartment.

Most likely fried blower motor sword. If you have a junkyard near you with these cars, pick one up for cheap and should work just fine. There are repairs out there but the time to repair is quite extensive, at least as what it looks like.

    way too many
I had that happen many years ago, turned out it was cold solder joints on the sword where the plug socket attaches to the board:

I would suspect the brushes in the blower motor- Happened to mine at around 200k miles
