I traded my 2007 Z4 roadster in on a 2006 M6 coupe in fabulous condition (41,000 miles and leather seats which appeared as if they had never been sat upon) and I share your concerns about the SMG transmission. Unfortunately, here in Ontario, Canada, it is not possible to get a powertrain warranty on a car which is more than ten years old. I find that it shifts more smoothly if you keep it in manual mode rather than "D" and use the paddle shifters. That way you can decide when the shift will take place, and ease off on the throttle when this occurs. I suggest that you consider purchasing a warranty if such is available for this car in your area.

I致e had my m5 for 2 weeks now and did a complete fluid change still trying to get all the records from dealership were it was serviced but so far all is great with the car. What an animal l. I see why they call it the beast. I think the only thing I don稚 get is the 16 gallon fuel tank
