Headlamp conversion issue
Hi guys,
I have searched and searched and cant really seem to locate my specific issue, even though I think its pretty common.
I bought a new headlamp for my 2002 E46 Cabrio, the simple plug in play process all was going well until I plugged the sidelight/dlr connector into the angel eye socket. Now my Angel eyes don't work but my indicators/blinkers are always on. When I plug back in my single sidelight it works fine again.
My research suggests that Canbus error free bulbs might be needed to run the angel eyes without error?
The unit uses 6 X 12v bulbs to light the AE's the side light was just 1 x 12V
Logically I think that the power from a single sidelight may be too low to power all 6 AE bulbs, but still not really sure what to do.
Clearly I am only a white belt at this stuff, any help would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance
Paulski
James H purchased the Predator Chromium based Projector46 units back in January 2005, almost 13 years ago. recently, he decided to get some new headlights with our newest bixenon offering the FXR V4. But decided to transfer the angel eyes over to his new headlights. Amazingly, they still worked just fine and here is the result of his tireless work over a few days.
