    The good ol days:-)

colby is a dedicated forum member who took a considerable amount of time and money to advocate on our behalf to get OBD2 style ATI balancers manufactured for e36. He went a step further a designed an even better more robust solution and only a small run of these were built. I’d grab it if I was in the position as I am OBD2 now and at the time this was happening I was OBD 1 and required a trigger wheel. Good buy here for anyone pushing the dampening limits of these engines.

I think ati will still make them if you call. It’s their normal 7-1/4” damper they make for other stuff with a hub for a bmw I believe. The ati dampers are kind of a modular bolt together deal.

The problem is [was] VAC. They got ATI to sign an exclusive deal for BMWs. So if you contacted ATI and said BMW they said call VAC. Even though as usual, VAC had nothing to do with the product, Adam did all the work to design it. But there was talk on the internet recently that ATI has had enough of us shitting on them for this and are nixing the agreement. But I haven't tried testing if this is true.
