Hi,Thanks for reply :-) Well first of all i have no Admin password. The guy who made this package only has supplied a password for installing USB devices only (for the cable i guess) inside the XP vmware image. There is alot of funny stuff going on in this setup cause it seems like need to run 2 VM's at the same time if let say DIS v57 is one of them. One VM is INPA tools and has a menu were i can choose to make ready for DIS v57. It seems to only start the Netman server and the Diagnostics head, then need to start to VM containing DIS v57. The problem with this is that he has hardcoded 192.168.68.2(Manual IP) into the XP system where INPA is running (no password to change). And i see he has configured DIS v57 unix also for that in the EDIABAS.INI. The HOSTS file has 192.168.58.1 for diaghead and some mobtiele for 192.168.68.2. Out of the box if i start the Diaghead in the INPA VM it of course runs 192.168.68.2, but DIS v57 crashes while loading with this. Thats without me changing anything. I've tried all combos of IP setups but if Diaghead is 192.168.68.2 in INPA VM it allways crashes. There is a thing though, Using the password to install the USB drivers, the ones he ask me to point at doesnt exist or is not recognized. But i found inside the filesystem some drivers called "BMW USB OBD Serial Converter" which are old but FTDI made. The problem with them is that they dont have the option "VCP" in them. But they do work in INPA since i've tried the install on the car. The problem seems to be the missing "VCP" option or the IP's as i can see. I would rather try with a native INPA install and see if i can use the original 192.168.68.1 setup against DIS v57. What you think? Another thing i want to ask is if the Diaghead Emulator is needed when running DIS v57? If not how to i configure the IP's and do i need to use the NETMAN server file?
