Hey guys I'm looking for this plastic coolant hose extension that connects my expansion tank hose to the spider hose.
Anyone know where to find it?
#7 on this diagram. This is for a '93 325is but it should be the same AFAIK

Thanks for the replies guys. It's actually the little plastic piece that doesn't have a number between hoses 6 and 7. I've searched for hose extension, adapter, connector, etc and I'm coming up dry.

Dorman makes a bunch of universal coolant hose connectors. You can usually find them at any of the mainline auto part stores. I don't recall the ID of those hoses but take the old connector to the store and you should be able to find a match.
Thanks Twistytee, I ended up at home depot today, went to their plumbing section and although I didn't find the exact sizes I needed, I found out what they are called.. Barbs. I specifically needed one that converted my 3/4" #7 to a custom 7/8" #6 I have routed directly to the waterpump. I found one here in case anyone else it. I bypassed the heater core and throttle body lines so no need for the spider hose.
I replaced both of those hoses last fall and the plastic connector wasn't included with either part number. Mine was still in good shape so I re-used it, but it's a pretty generic piece so I'm sure the plumbing barb with hose clamps or a Dorman reducer connector from your FLAPS would serve the same purpose well enough.
