I'm thinking about purchasing a 2014 Alpina B7. For those of you who have or have had an Alpina car, did you get raised eyebrows when you pulled it into your local BMW dealership to have it serviced/repaired? Do you know if the BMW techs typically get training to work on the Alpina cars? Did you or the dealer experience any problems getting replacement parts when something went bad with one of the upgraded, Alpina parts?

We work on Alpina cars all the time. To us, it's no different than any other 7 series. Any problems getting parts is on the BMW supply side, and has nothing to do with the dealer. We order them the same as any other BMW part.

Recently had the customer care package performed (aka recall) on my 2011 B7. It included a bunch of stuff including all injectors. Great experience. Took about a week which was the same estimated time as the regular 750.
no problems here. actually the techs like the car and I get treated well. no problems with performing required tasks.
I have never had any issues with any of my Alpinas over the years. Had them back to when they came to the states in 07.
