Thinking of swapping my Z3 for a 128 convertible. Theres a local 2012 with 100k miles, a little higher than Id like. However, new oil filter housing, valve cover gasket, new non runflat tires and alignment. Also some sort of evaporative detection pump replaced.
Is the 1 series prone to suspension needs around this mileage?
No one have any input? Should I look for lower mileage, or has the stuff that's been done by the dealership a good sign? Any help or input appreciated.
We've got a 128i convert, but only 74k on the clock. (bought it at 39k) So far so good. I have had one oil leak up by the filter serviced, and a slight oil pan leak that I'm living with it, because its such a small leak. Changed the run-flats for Pilot sports about two years ago with excellent luck. Other than fluid changes the car has been trouble free and love it.
