Question All in one key option for 2000 BMW z3 2.3 ?

Ok so I have the chip key, and then the keyfob for keyless entry... Is there any way to get an all in one key for this car?

I have my spare key and was thinking if there is some kind of housing to put both the transponder and the guts of the key fob in, so its all in one.

Any options out there for this? I don't want to get something coded and programed, I have the extra keys, just wanna transplant them into a single key if possible.

I think the only possible way is to get a new keyless entry system, like from United auto security or similar. The one you probably have is the Alpine system.

hmm nuts, thats a pain then. I took my fob apart and it seems like the chip is large, so whatever key I'd have to put it in would need to be huge anyway. My plan is not going well... Maybe I could have something 3D printed and see if I could get something designed for others with the same issue.

There's a version of the Z3 key with an all-in-one fob/key, but it's for the actual BMW keyless entry system. When I looked through diagrams and such for it before, it looked like UnitedAutoSecurity's system would be both easier and cheaper to use. I ended up removing my Alpine system because the range on the fob was so short that I might as well be inside the car before it would be able to command the door locks anyway. The Alpine system was a BMW-approved dealer-installed accessory.

Mine was installed very sloppily; I wonder if it was installed by sales, or by a technician that was fed up with sales' tendency to tell customers "you just plug it in it only takes 15 minutes," when the reality is something has to be routed under the dash to the opposite side of the car, etc. I don't miss being at sales' beck and call, those guys never wanted to pay for labor.
