For drain and fill plugs, I just get them to ~25ftlb and call it good. As long as they thread in smoothly, I just get them good and snug which is about ~25lb. Make sure you use new crush washers (or file copper washers flat). Only do this for fill plugs. Head bolts, oil pan, stretch bolts, wheel bolts, etc., find the spec and use a torque wrench.
