really didnt want to post a thread about this but after google nothing showed up so here we go.(batman)
i replaced the bleed screw hose with a new one and the old hose was on zip tied to the fan shroud. i cut the zip tie installed the new hose and forgot about the zip tie and drove off. i now feel the car shaking upon startup then goes away, iwent out to the engien bay and saw one blade of the engine fan was gone so i saw that the fan was hitting the expansion tank hose this whole time luckily i didnt overheat.
i have now ghetto rigged it under the fan shroud and added a zip tie to keep the hose from falling down or else it will hit the fan, is there a proper way to install this hose? is it suppose to be zip tied to the fan shroud or what, cause i thought it was time to do motor mounts. even after the hose not hitting the fan the car still shakes upon startup, is this a new problem or is this because of the one blade missing off the fan. also idles bit weird now too like a vaccum leak.
You need to remove the fan because it is now unbalanced and may grenade and do a lot more damage.

Yes replace the damaged fan.
My son was driving my E36 when the bleed/vent hose detached from the reservoir. It retained the clamp and was thrown into my Zionsville radiator several times by the fan until all the blades were removed from the fan. Needless to say the radiator was a total loss.
There is an intermediate ‘clip’ in the fan shroud that retains the bleed/vent hose. I have now drilled two 1/8th inch holes and zip tied (small zip ties) the bleed/vent hose to the shroud in two locations either side of center on two of my three E36s.

There are C looking hooks on the inside of the shroud (from the fan side) that hold that hose, they are usually broken on most cars. You can see them on this image:
