Hey guys im getting a high idle issue, which i think its a tuning issue but want to get your view on it
So i have a 95 M3. Replaced all intake/coolant hoses underneath the intake manifold as well as changed all gaskets and cleaning out the ICV. When I disconnect the battery and reconnect it, the car would run fine. idle at its normal rpm at ~700. the more i drive it (after couple days) the idle would slowly go up and top out at 1200rpm. this would continue everytime i start the car and drive it soft or aggressive. i disconnected the battery, left it alone for 15 mins, reconnected it, and the car would idle back at ~700. and like before, it would take a couple days of driving before the idle would top out at 1200. Any suggestions?
Vacuum leak or tuning...Perhaps your car was tuned with a dirty ICV?...That would be my thought on it...Have you done the ether spray test to look for any leaks?
