Just curious if it'd be worth it to run a set of NV rods with a set of wisecos on them. Turbo application
You know or just spend the remaining 500$ and not worry about it.
By the time you buy fresh rod bolts your only out of pocket 380$ or something for the real deal.
people are having success with nv rods and theyll work with wisecos. And maybe theyll hold 1000whp..

S366. Pretty much the same setup I had last year just a bigger fuel system and a different manifold
Should be fine. I would recommend a set of ARP rod bolts. The stock non vanos rod bolts have a weird undercut on them.

As far as I knew NV rods were a bit thicker. I have a vanos m50 but was gonna beef it up a bit with NV rods I have laying around and wisecos. So do I need the crank from the NVm50 too? It thought the vanos m50 and NV m50 had the same bottom end one just had thicker rods
Hmm interesting. I just always thought the NV rods were thicker from what people have said. Good to know.
Nice to finally see what the K1 Rods look like in comparison to OEM.

M50NV rods are significantly heavier than K1 or Eagle. Eagle are a tiny bit heavier than K1.
Time to get busy with those Howard's!!
