Trying to get some touch up paint from an auto parts store. They don’t carry Older BMW colors. What would be the best match for sterling silver metallic for a 1990 325i?

Your local auto paint supplier should be able to mix you a little sterling or you can buy it online.
paintscratch.com I bought their salmon silver metallic in both rattle can and pint can. The color match is very good considering the age of the paint on the car.
Also always available at the dealership. Last time I got some it was around $13.

Then try new spark plugs, cap and rotor, wires, oxygen sensor, crank shaft position sensor, coolant temp sensor, air flow meter, idle control valve, throttle position sensor, digital motor electronics unit, harmonic balancer, fuel injectors, engine harness...
