    That joint looks really dry. Was there any warning? Torn seal boots? Indication that the lube was flung off first? Or reman part which wasn't properly lubed?

    Just wondering if there's something the rest of us can learn from.

    I was just under the car a few weeks ago and everything was in order. I have had the car for 6 years and have the maintenance records before then (I purchased as a CPO car), it is the original part.
