Help with INPA version compatibility.

Hi all,

My father has a 2005 320D with suspected valvetronic motor problem. He bought a K+DCAN cable and software pack from eBay, which I've been trying in vain to install.

I cannot for the life of me seem to install Windows XP Professional (as recommended) on a partition on my laptop.

Am I able to use a newer version of this software - say, for Windows 7 or Windows 10? If so, could someone please point me in the right direction for download/purchase and install instructions?

I have spent many hours already on this and am getting very frustrated.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

You don't need Windows XP.
Ignore the disk or software pack with the cable.
