Similar seats were offered in the early E24 models IIRC, before BMW started building their own sport seats. I've seen a lot of seat swaps over the years. Probably just needs a set of Recaro adapter rails.

Hard to find a set of Recaros in that sort of shape these days - those look nearly perfect! I'd be strongly tempted to sell those off to a VW enthusiast, then use the proceeds for a set of BMW sport seats instead.

I have now also the chance to get a pair of Recaro seats quite similar but to be completely refurbished. I think they are still interesting but those are coming form a Opel Manta and no idea how could I adapt them in my '84 635csi
