    Mileage not showing?

Picked up a 2001 325XI with 125k on it. Disconnected my battery and the t-bolt for the positive cable snapped. I noticed once I drove after that my miles do not show up. There is no clock and I can't see the gear I'm in. My gas gauge and other gauges don't not work either. I got a new t-bolt in the mail and replaced it and still nothing. Just odd that it all stopped randomly. Any ideas?

Try this BMW approve reset procedure:
    - disconnect the negative battery cable
    - disconnect the positive battery cable
    - shortnthe 2 cable’s together for 10 minutes
    - reconnect the positive battery cable
    - reconnect the negative battery cable (sparks are ok)
    - reset the clock

When reinstalling the battery cables use a blade screw driver to open the connector a bit. Use a green 3M scrubby to clean the battery post and the inside of the battery cable connector. Then use force to ensure that the connector is fully seated on the battery post.
