    The aux fan is dead, getting a new one of those. Although no aux fan will cause an overheat, it will not cause hot air or steam in the coolant, that is purely exhaust gasses.

    I was wondering the same thing. I have very similar symptoms and am weighing my energy to rip into the engine like Kouks has done. Seems like the biggest PITA is dealing with the exhaust and rear coolant manifolds, other than that pretty straightforward.
