Curious nissan GTR transmission In e34
Is it possible for a nissan GTR transmission to fit and work in a 1995 bmw e34 540i??? Just curious to know. i was thinking about the other day.

The GTR transmission is AWD. It would be a lot of custom work to make that work in an e34.
Aside from the obvious issue of connecting it to the motor, you've got to find clearance for custom axles, hubs that can accept axles, etc.
Then if the GTR trans is electronically controlled (diffs), then you are going to have to get a computer to run it.

Thanks. I got a rebuild coming up soon for my 540i e34 so stay tuned ill post when that time comes.
