Help, not too long ago there was a link with instructions to replace the rear window trim with 1/4 inch rubber hose using RTV and now I cannot find it

I did this about 3 to 4 years ago and now I am finally replacing the window with an ADM. Getting the RTV off the fabric around the window has been a chore. In retrospect, I should have just bought a new window back then. Just some food for thought.

Did you replace the window because the rubber tubing trim fix started to come off after 3-4 years?
Not only would the RTV make the canvas too thick to go into the new window's trim, but it might extend beyond what the new narrow trim can cover.
So after doing the rubber tube and RTV fix, the next window would be easier if it were an Emiata with the wide canvas trim.

I had to replace it because the window cracked. The tubing held up OK, just pulled away a bit at the upper corners. An Emiata top would hide the RTV but I HATE the look of the canvas trim on those. The ADM is an excellent solution and even with some of the remaining RTV visible I like it better than I would the Emiata.
