Im not a big car guy but i am wanting to make the car more modern and add creature comforts, had much newer cars normally. this is what im thinking pf purchasing this weekend to to put in the car straight away, anyone used this stuff or got any tips on any of it. Even better anything else i should do to it i'm all ears.

Just from experience looking at OE radio connectors. The black large connectors on the right of the radio should connect up to the stock connections. And the red/blue/yellow connectors seems to be for non-OE accessories such as a back up camera

thanks for taking a look and thank you in advance for any help.
I think one could be for the CD changer if you have that option. And for that box, I believe its a CAN-BUS decoder

oh ok that makes sense i suppose. well im hoping to get the car this weekend and will see how i get on. thanks for your help.
So i got the car now and the radio and going to make an attempt to replace the radio tomorrow. It states in the guide that i must disconnect the negative from that battery first, is this easy to do and safe to do? or is there anything i should do before hand?
If you havnt already, disconnecting the negative terminal from the battery is a breeze. Open up your trunk, pull down the thing on the right, grab an adjustable wrench (and maybe something to take the top plate off, Phillips head screwdriver?) and disconnect the terminal under the black cover.
