FRM Module replacement with used one.

    Hi,
I replaced FRM module on my car E90 2006 318i with a used one from another bmw e90 same year, the major reason for the change was changing regular headlights with xenon lights(angle). All seems working good even for some reason I feel car more better in terms of performance and mileage.
My question is do I need to change VIN number as well ? I have now two errors reading by INPA 9cb3 and 9CB4, which means some headlight alignment thing, I have a wheel button next to the light button which use to adjust the alignment of the lights and now it does not work. Other than those two errors rest every thing works fine.
I used NCS expert to write the new FRM by using FA write and then SG Coderian Commands, I tried to clear those two errors but as soon as I turn the lights on those errors appears again, now if I register the vin number as well on this FRM will this work ? also can I update this FRM module with latest software for it ? Please advice. Thank you

Did you ever resolve your issue? If yes, how? If no, how did you handle the situation?
