Cooling fan not coming on

2013 F10 N63: Typically, after shutting off my car, I hear the cooling fan running for a while. Lately, I noticed it is not running but there is a buzzing sound coming from that location. It sounds like a solenoid or something trying to engage. Can anyone tell me how to troubleshoot this system?

The fan is only turned on when needed, with the weather turning cooler it entirely possible its not being requested to turn on. If the fan fails it will set a check engine light.

You can activate the fan with ISTA.

I guess that is possible. The buzzing sound is what concerned me. It sounds like something trying to engage. I did run the codes again to see if I had anything new. I still only had the two that I have had, a P0050 & P3027. Thanks for the response, I feel much better now that you mentioned the cooler weather and the lack of a code indicating a fan failure. Now I need to work on the O2 sensor codes.
