Its for a coupe, if that makes a difference. The OE wheel chock, part number 71111179052
Where in the trunk does it go, and how does it mount?
Beats me, USA cars didn’t get it...lol
No matter where you go, there you are...
Whaaaaat? Had to check my trunk for a chock. No chock I honestly didn't even know they existed until this post was made.

No, I was referring to the E36.
Really, No chock? What they want you to do, die??
This is a 99 low miles M3, just trying to restore it to stock, its in decent shape.
ETA- its certainly listed in the diagramshttp://www.realoem.com/bmw/enUS/show...diagId=71_0110

OP, the chock gets clamped in with the jack. I'd share a pic, but mine is gone because race car.

Wait, you mean these cars came with a jack? I've literally never taken mine out...(in 22 years...lol).. There are lot of things listed on those diagrams that USA cars never got. The triangle, the first aid kit are other examples.
No matter where you go, there you are...
If anyone has a picture how it mounts, I would appreciate it. I am turning this car into a collector. Price is skyrocketing on low mileage M3's so I wanna keep it stock, correct, and clean.
Huh, my car came with the chock. But I had always just put it on the battery cover/storage compartment. I'll have to fiddle with it and see if I can get it under the jack in the spare wheel well.
