Trunk equipment- where does the wheel chock go?

Its for a coupe, if that makes a difference. The OE wheel chock, part number 71111179052

Where in the trunk does it go, and how does it mount?

Wait, you mean these cars came with a jack? I've literally never taken mine out...(in 22 years...lol).. There are lot of things listed on those diagrams that USA cars never got. The triangle, the first aid kit are other examples.

If anyone has a picture how it mounts, I would appreciate it. I am turning this car into a collector. Price is skyrocketing on low mileage M3's so I wanna keep it stock, correct, and clean.

Bingo. Gets wedged in there when you tighten everything down.

Huh, my car came with the chock. But I had always just put it on the battery cover/storage compartment. I'll have to fiddle with it and see if I can get it under the jack in the spare wheel well.

Major street cred for the person to post a picture of a factory organized E36 coupe trunk
