I want to DIY a PPF wrap and I have some questions

First, I realize this is sort of crazy, but there is no way I can possibly afford to pay a professional to do it to the tune of thousands of dollars so I am going to DIY.

I have watched a ton of videos and the one thing I just cannot find any information on is what to do at a corner, or where three lines meet. Do you make a relief cut and fold the material over itself? Do you do your best to stretch the film just over the leading edge and then cut a miter to join them together on the underside? I want to hide as many edges as possible so figuring out how to do this is crucial.

I cut the excess once I come to the corner so there isn't as much to deal with and carefully wrapped it around the corner. I really hope you plan on doing it in the spring / summer when the sun is out and it is warm.
