525i side marker bulb socket

Hi. all, any suggestion on removing and replacing the bulb sockets on my side markers. I'm assuming they just pull out . but they have probably never been replaced and I didnt want to break anything on removal. I have them all working except one and thinking it may be corroded. 1995 BMW 525i.

Like the fender ones? The are held in with metal clips which more often than not just fall off the lens housing when you remove it

Not the repeater ones in the fender, I'm speaking of the side markers in the bumpers. Need to know the best way to remove bulb socket
