Hello everyone,
I'm about to pull the trigger on a 435i. Its pre-owned and not being sold at a BMW dealership so I'm a little bit hesitant and am getting a pre-purchase inspection. What are some things I should look for and how should I handle any major discoveries made during the inspection? For example if there's 4k in work that needs to be done. Do I demand that it is done or have that taken off the value of the car?
Hello - If there are any mechanical issues that need to be addressed after the PPI report, ideally they should be taken care of by the party selling the car. It may be a bit difficult in this case because it's not a BMW dealership - is the PPI report being done by them or by an independent BMW mechanic?

It’s an independent BMW repair shop. The dealership did their own inspection, however, I still wanted an independent inspection done.
