Hi Everyone,
This is my first post here. Myself, my father, and two friends are running a 1999 323i in Chumpcar Central division. We just finished our first season with it, and are starting on some upgrades for next year.
Mods done:
-homemade CAI
-homemade cat back side exit exhaust
-ebay coilovers
-330i brake conversion
-Hawk blue racing pads
-Fuel safe fuel cell with hydramat
-6point cage
-Kirkey seat
-Gutted all easily removable weight
-removed AC and heater system entirely
-Chipped ECU
-245/40-17 Nexen Nfera SUR4
-rear subframe re-enforced
-Lexan rear and side windows
Upgrades over this winter:
-Upgraded aero. We got a much bigger APR wing than last year, and will be making a largish front splitter.
-Further weight loss - removal of inside door skins etc.
-Upgraded lighting, as we are going to run a 24hr next year
-Bilstein yellows and some form of stock diameter spring. Anything with decent spring rate in stock diameter would save us a bunch of points in Chump.
-m54b25 swap. This will cost us a few points, but will be worth it.
-Better tires - likely Ventus RS4
Pics below, excuse the pushed in air dam. Took a trip accross the grass.

good luck on the build. Seen you at a couple of events this year (we were the blue civic). See you guys next year
Nice. That has to cost you some points. The chip alone is big points. Where in Chicago are you located?
Aren't ECUs open in Chump now?
ECU is free. So far we are taking 60 points, 40 for suspension and 20 for aero. The stock diameter spring and bilstein combo next year will get rid of the 40 points we are taking now, just need to figure out the best springs to use.
